    Range 50

    The program is designed to teach the dive planning and safe diving techniques up to the depth of 50 meters , with air as a bottom gas and nitrox and oxygen as decompression gases. It also includes the ability to dive with 2 stage cylinders.

    PREREQUISITES

    Applicants for the program must:

    •be a minimum of 21 years of age

    • have passed ISSF Advanced Nitrox 42 or equivalent from another training agency. The course can be conducted along with the Trimix Mod 60 course in a combo package.

    • have logged a minimum of 120 dives (a minimum of 70 hours), at least 30 of which deeper than 36 meters

    If you think you are lacking in the required knowledge, contact your ISSF instructor who will help you to fill in the gaps.

    TRAINING PROGRAM

    During the training, a minimum of 6 training dives must be conducted, each of which cannot be shorter than 40 minutes. The total time of in-water session cannot be shorter than 300 minutes. If the course is combined with Trimix Mod 60, the Extended Range 50 session can be limited to 4 dives, with a total time of no less than 160 minutes. The total time of the combo package cannot be shorter than 460 minutes of in water practice.

    Qualifications:

    A successfully completed Extended Range 50 training ends with a certification that entitles to air technical diving, up to a depth of 50 meters without time and decompression limits.
