First of all, the people … Our instructors are the greatest force of ISSF, so we choose them very carefully; at the same time, we treat them as cooperation partners, appreciating their contribution and commitment to the development of the federation. The work of a diving Instructor is a real profession and a great responsibility. For this reason, we focus on professionals only. Undoubtedly, each ISSF instructor must possess excellent skills and extensive diving knowledge. The priority, however, is the willingness and ability to pass on the knowledge. Only people with the mentioned features are able to provide with the appropriate training standard as well as pass their knowledge and skills to the appropriate extent. The idea of ISSF is that each student that chooses the training in accordance with the rules of our federation, despite the training level, should be sure that he is always in the hands of fully professional staff and will be able to develop his diving skills in a safe and comfortable way.

An individual approach … The ISSF teaching programs and trainings are based on working in small groups only. It allows us to treat each student individually and devote maximum attention to each phase of learning. The ISSF program guarantees those people who train under our care incomparably more in-water practice with a professional instructor than in other organizations. A longer time spent under the instructor supervision, gives the opportunity to select the elements that make the student struggle and allows for improvement.

Security in any situation … Good training means, for sure, the ability to predict and avoid problems based of the high level skills. However, no one can be sure that they will not encounter an unexpected situation in an unknown water environment. In ISSF, we prefer not to assume that they will not happen, but to be prepared for them. What makes ISSF special is the introduction of elements of rescue and self-rescue skills at the basic level of the course, and then systematic development of them through successive stages of advancement. Hundreds of dives in the most difficult conditions on the globe: in cold-water environments, low-visibility situations, under ice, in caves and on wrecks, using various types of equipment, allowed the founders and authors of the ISSF system to develop training programs that work under any conditions.

… For us, the creators of ISSF, diving is something more than having a nice time. It is also a way of life, the responsibility and commitment. Above all, the commitment to safety and high level of training standards as well as the care for environmental protection and the respect for underwater life or the protection of wrecks. For this reason, during our classes we also address the issues of responsible behavior underwater, so that future generations can also admire the variety of underwater flora and fauna.
