TEC BASIC DIVER

As you become a more advanced diver you will require more breathing gas and more confidence underwater. The larger gas supply will give you more security, more stability, more comfort. Using a double tank configuration, manifolded tanks with an isolator, you also have greater self-rescue possibilities.
The TEC Basic training is intended for people who want to improve their knowledge and skills in twinset diving and proper equipment set and configuration as well as finning techniques: frog kick, modified frog kick, back-kick, modified flutter kick. The course provides a solid basis for embarking on the technical diver path.
Applicants for the program must:
• be a minimum 16 years of age
• have passed ISSF Open Water Diver 20 or equivalent from another training agency.
• have completed a minimum of 30 non-training dives, with a total time spent underwater no shorter than 900 minutes.
The TEC Basic ISSF training introduces to your diving additional elements that increase: safety, the level of comfort and knowledge and skills. During the course, you will learn how to configure a double-tank set in a proper way, how to choose the right twinset for yourself, how to weight yourself, and how to use it while in the water and on the surface. The ISSF instructor, carefully and in detail, will discuss the individual elements of the configuration as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the chosen equipment set up. During the classes, you will fit and weight your diving equipment set in a correct way and learn team diving and responding to emergency situations. All this to make diving more safe and comfortable. The ISSF TEC Basic Diver course is the next step on the path to deep diving, according to the motto:, “there are no shortcut in diving “. This course is a reasonable dose of knowledge and training!
The training lasts a minimum of 2 days during which you will complete at least 6 dives with a total time of no less than 360 minutes.
Outcomes of the training:
On completion of this training you will get the TEC Basic Diver ISSF certification, that confirms the acquired skills within the scope of the program.
