    AN INSTRUCTOR

    OPEN WATER ISSF INSTRUCTOR

ANY NEW CANDIDATE FOR THE ISSF INSTRUCTOR, MUST GAIN THE SUPPORT FROM AT LEAST 3 ISSF TRAINERS PRIOR TO BEING QUALIFIED FOR TRAINING.

As members of the ISSF, we adhere to the principle that diving instructors must be above average in both health and efficiency of the body, diving skills, knowledge and teaching skills. Only the combination of these elements allows the effective and safe teaching. If your knowledge or practical skills are not comprehensive, we will help you complement them.

We believe that being a diving instructor is a profession, a professional activity – that is why we focus exclusively on professionals. We focus on a fair and ethical approach to the profession.

We also think that a good diver is not always a good teacher, but a good teacher must be a good diver. If you have decided to become an International Scuba Schools Federation instructor, you must possess both of the mentioned above qualities.

Familiarize yourself with the basic criteria that you have to meet before you take part in the ISSF Instructor Training.
